The Friday

Do you ever just have an off day? Brandon and I had one of those today. We woke up early even though we could've slept in, dealt with crazy people on the highways all day long, and had incompetence surrounding us today. It was frustrating. By the end of our day, we were so exhausted that we could not enjoy ourselves at a friend's going away party.

Bleh... I hate days like today. But- I can't complain too much. I mean, it's not like I was nailed on a cross and left to die today. Sometimes it helps to gain a little perspective on our lives. I doubt that Jesus ever slept in and I'm certain he dealt with his fair share of crazy people. He didn't have the luxury of highways and SUVs, only donkeys and the two feet he was born with. And incompetence, well the book speaks for itself- it seems like there was definitely a lot of that going around during his time.

Either way, I happy we have today to remind us why we're really here on earth and what we have awaiting us. Our selfishness will be short lived and that is such a good thing. I love Easter and can't wait for Sunday. I was baptised on Easter and hold that holiday near and dear to my heart. I hope everyone takes a moment to put their life in perspective and be reminded of our Savior.

Happy Easter!
